HCSOF Honors Deputy Jesse Valdez, III


The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Foundation is honored to provide a recent donation to underwrite the costs for two of Deputy Jesse Valdez’ immediate surviving family members to attend the annual National Peace Officers’ Memorial ceremony in Washington DC in May. Deputy Jesse Valdez, III will be recognized for his dedicated service as an eleven year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office at this national memorial event that honors federal, state and local officers killed or disabled in the line of duty.

Mr. Franco Valobra expressed both sincere condolences and appreciation in regard to Deputy Valdez’ contributions to the Houston community as a dedicated law enforcement professional with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

On October 29, 2014, Deputy Valdez sustained fatal injuries when his patrol car was struck head on while on duty.
